The Chinese Sages believed that in the universe there are three kind of lucks enter into play in our lives: Heaven Luck, Earth Luck and Man Luck.
Heaven Luck refers to what is God given or bestowed by Heaven. It is fixed at birth and cannot be controlled or changed by man. Heaven's will is what decides when we are born, where we are born, who is our family, what race we are and what background and upbringing we will have. Sounds a bit like Destiny, right? Absolutely, Heaven Luck is an essence - destiny.
Earth Luck is referred to where a person lives and the Feng Shui of the place that the person resides or works in. Like Destiny, the playing field is not level either when it comes to QI distribution on the earth. Some parts of the city, state or country are better than others, just as how sometimes slums and prime real estate can't be in the same postcode. Some areas have superior landform and mountains, producing wealthy individuals, i.e Hollywood.Finally, there is Man Luck. This refers to choices that people make, their morals, their virtues, their beliefs and life decisions. Man Luck is what makes individuals strive to better themselves, it is what positive thinking and motivational coaching is all about. If a persons has good Man Luck, they will strive hard to improve and advance themselves - by contrast, if their Man Luck is not so good, they are likely to be individuals who do not see the value in self-improvement or even reading the newspapers!
